#AtTheOmni – Complete Content Marketing Program

I was hired by Omni Hotels & Resorts to strategize and develop their complete content marketing and social media program. I led cross-functional e-commerce, creative services, PR/communications, email marketing, loyalty and revenue management teams to create and execute owned, earned and paid content campaigns designed to drive traffic to the OmniHotels.com website, and heads in beds.

In strategizing the content theme and flow, my team recognized the recurring phrase “at the Omni” used by guests and brand advocates, and we began the #AtTheOmni content theme that continues its success today.

Some key activities/results:

  • Designed the #AtTheOmni blog as a hub for Omni’s content initiatives and a target for social and PR-driven traffic. Published 250+ articles in 3 years, grew traffic with coordinated web, email and social support, and drove incremental room booking conversion.
  • Designed, managed and/or supervised all content calendars and social properties including #AtTheOmni Blog, 17 Facebook pages, 15 Twitter accounts, Pinterest, Instagram, more.
  • Founded Omni Blogger Community of 2000 bloggers for use in hotel reviews and #AtTheOmni Blog contributions, and to amplify corporate messaging and initiatives.
  • Created 7 cross-platform brand initiatives that included events, traffic strategy, landing pages, print collateral, emails, blog and social amplification, and production of photo and video assets.
  • Integrated Olapic user-generated content tool into OH.com website and #AtTheOmni Blog encouraging guest engagement, asset library growth, and verified attribution >$8mm.
  • Orchestrated events, print, web, and social exposure for two hotel grand openings and two Social Fresh conferences, each resulting in national social/PR exposure and hashtag trending.
  • Designed Omni Blogger Community of 2000 bloggers for use in hotel reviews and #AtTheOmni Blog contributions, and to amplify corporate messaging and initiatives.
